Pretty Cool
What It Claims To Do: The Ped Egg claims to be the ultimate way to smooth your feet. If you've seen the infomercial,
you've seen how easy they make it look, how smooth their feet seem to get, and how the filings all get held
inside the cup of the Ped Egg for easy clean up.
What It Does: We took the Ped Egg to our local beauty salon to test out the claims. First impression: the Ped Egg looks like a cheese grater.
Sounds a little gross, but the little holes help shave off the caluses and dry skin. The Ped Egg made loud scraping noises
as it filed away, but we loved the results. It was easy to use, quick, painless and removed the dry caluses from feet really well. The shavings were
collected at the bottom, as advertised, so clean up was easy too.
A special thanks to L'Image Beauty Salon for allowing us to film on their premises and helping us test the Ped Egg.
The Bottom Line: We thought this product worked really well. It smoothed away feet, and the shavings were collected into
the little cup at the bottom. If you're a bit squeamish, though, you may be bothered by the scraping noise and the pile
of foot shavings that are left behind.

Pros: Works for a while. Handy.
Cons: Dulls fast, then leaves feet rough.
Bottom Line: Ped egg work pretty well on the first use and makes short work of thick callouses. Unfortunately the next use I had to grind away at the rough spots and it left my feet with the rough scratch lines the other reviewer mentioned. Comes with a refill, but that one does not last long either.

Pros: - it easily fits in your hands (both left & right)
- takes off quite a bit of callused skin without taking healthy skin with it
- works on both wet and dry skin
- replacement parts are easy to find
Cons: - i've found that if you use it vigorously, dry shavings have a tendency of sprinkling out
- the product specifies to use it on dry skin only, but it takes a long time to see any real progress
- if used on wet skin, the blade(s) dull after time
Bottom Line: It works as advertised, but in all honesty - it's not as mess-free as they claim.

Pros: Quick removal of tough callouses.
Cons: leaves behind scratches that become rough later
Bottom Line: Ped egg works great and removes tough dead skin. The problem is that when the skin is removed it leaves small scratch lines in the remaining skin. These scratch lines feel smooth at first because they are in the softer skin. Once the skin dries you will notice that your feet are very rough and will catch on stockings and socks.

Pros: Works. Affordable. Well made.
Cons: Doesn't catch all dead skin. Can't get hard to reach areas.
Bottom Line: The pedegg does remove calluses and it is easy to hold and use. The fact that it traps dead skin is nice, but it still misses some so you still have to lay something down or clean up after use.
It's big and oval, which makes it difficult to use between the toes.
Cost me $10 and the drugstore. Certainly better than most infomercial products I've gotten suckered into buying.

- Pros:
- Easy to use
- Mess contained within "egg"
- Smooths feet well
- Removes, buffs and collects in one unit
- Cons:
- Makes loud scraping noise
- Seeing the shavings is a little gross
The Bottom Line:
We liked the Ped Egg. It was simple to use, effective, and easy to clean. If you are not grossed out by the scraping noise or
the leftover filings, the Peg Egg is a great product.
