Bottom Line: Usually voip companies gives you a lot more for your money compare to the regular phone companies. Now Magicjack does give you the usual standard features for a lot less money. Great if you travel abroad or as matter of facts anywhere. You can take your phone service with you. I disconnected my phone line coming into the house from the phone company box and then connected the magicjack into one of the phone jacket in the house and now all my house phone work perfectly. Sound quality is excellent. By the way Computers with Vista these days recommend to leave them on all the time. The computer system goes into sleep mode and magic jack still works.  Permalink
