Pros: There were some pros until it became a high risk health hazard so NO - there are NO pros.

Cons: This is a DOLLAR STORE product!!!! Biggest piece of crap ever invented.

I give it MINUS 5 stars.

Bottom Line: This is the most dangerous product ever. It chops onions, nuts etc. quite well, but it is made from cheap flimsy plastic that falls apart. There is a thin piece of plastic around the blades. I chopped walnuts with it, which I put into a pasta dash. While eating the pasta dish I found a small piece of plastic. I then checked the Slap Chop and noticed that a while piece of the plastic from around the blades had broken off and was nowhere to be found.

This means that this thin cheap plastic was finely chopped into the food that 2 of us had just eaten. I called the company and they are only prepared to issue a refund if I ship the product back to them. The problem is, postage costs as much as the product and they refuse to pay for postage.

This is a high risk product and the company that sells it are the biggest liars who steal your money. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT - you have been warned. It should be recalled and removed from the market.  Permalink
