Iron Gym Total Upper Body Workout Bar

Pros: May get you "ripped."

Cons: Your house may "get ripped," too

Bottom Line: I told my mom not to buy it. I saw the prop door frame in the commercial, and immediately identified how it was constructed out of materials the average household door frame does not have.

I saw stainless steel in the door frame structure as well as other materials, and began to silently keep the opinion to myself that iron gym was likely going to support your weight just fine, but you'd find that your house, when turned into gym equipment structure support, would not survive the stress.

I didn't ask for one, but my mom on a guess bought one for christmas. I told her I wasn't going to use it, but I never told anyone else in my house likely cons that come with using the product. I just irresponsibly left it lying around. I didn't have enough solid proof, only suspicion of what it might end up doing. Months later my sister tried it out. I knew because I saw the basement door frame. (By the way, we have a nice, finished basement that is very inviting to the guests)

The basement door frame looked like it had been ripped away from the drywall around the top of the door frame.
