Pros: Low cost - and it had better be for the poor quality!

Cons: It hardly ever works properly. Who wants a product that does not work as advertised?

Bottom Line: I'm VERY disappointed with the Magic Jack. I bought and mailed it to my deployed husband so he could connect it to his laptop and talk to me back home in the States. More often than not, when he calls me, I cannot hear him even though he can hear me. And when we DO finally get connected so I can hear him, his sound cuts out shortly into the conversation, so we're forced to hang up so he can call back and try again. Also, when I try to call him, I am sent directly to a voicemail he cannot access, so we're limited to him calling me. It is horribly frustrating.  Permalink
