Bottom Line: Listen, I just had to throw away my slap chop. While I was chopping onions the plastic part that fits over the blades to keep the food compressed became misaligned . Parts of it chopped up with my onion and I didn't realize it until I mixed all of my food together on the stove. I managed to locate and remove a large piece of it but this could be very harmful. I threw the thing away!  Permalink
