Iron Gym Total Upper Body Workout Bar
Pros:
Simple
Easy to Install & Remove
Works for Pull Ups
$25 after retailer's coupon
Cons:
Worthless for Dips
Bottom Line:
If what you want is a simple pull-up bar that works, this fits the bill. It assembles in minutes and slips onto typical door frames with no fuss. The design is simple and effective. When you put your weight on it, the moment created pushes rubber pads against the wall so that friction helps hold the bar up. Thus, the door molding doesn't actually have to carry all your body weight. Over time it may leave some scuff marks, but I doubt it would harm most doorways. I also like it for push-ups as it lets me do them without bending my bum wrist. It's pretty worthless for dips though.
