The Bottom Line: So the snuggie is taking the nation by storm. Let's just relax a little and think about this for a second. The infomercial for this thing wants you to believe that this thing will revolutionize the way you live your life. That it will make you happier and cooler than all your friends and neighbors.

Well it wont. It's a blanket, with sleeves. yeah it's warm and comfortable and sometimes its convenient but really, it's pretty much just a blanket that has sleeves sewn onto it.   Permalink

The Bottom Line: You know, this, and the stealth SSA remind me of the junk that you would find in those thop-rite vending machines. You put in a quarter and get this plastic egg with some 2bit piece of garbage inside that would amuse the average six year old for no longer than the car ride home. This is exactly like that, actually its worse. This is cheap junk, but it wont amuse you for ten minutes, it will annoy you forever. The concept is childish and comical and when it arrived I fully expected it to come in a plastic egg with a cheaply painted plastic gold badge or something. It really doesnt work and for like twenty bucks you shouldnt expect it to. If you need something to help you hear better, get a hearing aid. they are more discreet and work far better than a junky toy.   Permalink

The Bottom Line: its good for chopping nuts or onions but if you need to chop anythign else its easier to just use a knife. Its tough to chop with sometimes and it can get dull pretty fast. once that happens its useless.   Permalink

The Bottom Line: this stuff is good for making small repairs and fixes. It doesnt really work well for larger, load-bearing things. I wouldnt trust it on stuff like that. I would recommend it to fix small stuff only.   Permalink

Pros: sturdy. not complicated to set up or install (if you have the right style door). Versatile

Cons: you cant do dips with it. does not include the straps

The Bottom Line: Like any piece of exercise equipment, it works if you use it. The iron gym isnt really any different than similar products but it does work as advertised. As mentioned in the original review it doesnt come with the straps which is lame.   Permalink
