Magic Bullet
Pros:
Small footprint. Powerful motor.
Cons:
1) Flaw in design. The rubber rotor on the base of the blades gets chewed up by the plastic rotor on the motor base every time the user pushes the blade in/out of the base. Once it starts to wear out, it wears out quickly. 2) Difficulty in obtaining parts. When my blades wore out I contacted the manufacturer for replacement parts. They made me jump through hoops to satisfy them I indeed own a genuine product before they would sell me the parts. The "evidence" they needed included sending them digital pictures of various parts of the motor base, over the course of several weeks of back-and-forth. I wasn't trying to get free parts. I was willing to pay for them and this hassle was completely unnecessary. 3) The little tabs on the cups, which are used to engage the motor, tend to break off. Once the tabs are gone, the cup can no longer be used with the base.
The Bottom Line:
For occasional use only. I now use an on-off switch at the power plug so that the motor is turned on/off only when the blade is fully inserted. This will hopefully reduce wear on the rubber rotor.
